South Africa’s Business confidence rises in April

Business confidence in South Africa rose in April as lower inflation a month earlier offset a cabinet reshuffle that rattled the rand currency, a survey showed on Thursday.

The South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (SACCI) monthly business confidence index (BCI) rose to 94.9 in April from 93.8 in March.
