Arab Contractors Opens New Chapter in Guinea as Ahmed El Assar Leads Landmark Business Mission

In a landmark first-of-its-kind visit, Eng. Ahmed El Assar, Chairman of Arab Contractors (Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.), is leading a high-level delegation from the company on a working mission to the Republic of Guinea to explore new opportunities for cooperation and investment and to examine ongoing and future national development projects.

During the visit, El Assar and the accompanying delegation are scheduled to meet with senior government officials, prominent investors and leading business figures to discuss potential areas of cooperation, particularly in infrastructure and development projects. The delegation will also showcase the extensive engineering expertise, technical capabilities and accumulated experience of Arab Contractors, one of Egypt’s leading construction and infrastructure companies with a long-standing presence across Africa.

As part of the visit, H.E. Ambassador Mohamed El-Halawani, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Guinea and Guinea-Bissau, hosted a dinner in honor of Eng. Ahmed El Assar and the accompanying delegation.

The reception was attended by senior Guinean officials, including the Ministers of Infrastructure; Fisheries and Maritime Economy; and Environment and Sustainable Development, as well as the President of the Guinea Development Council and a number of prominent Guinean and Lebanese business leaders.

The visit marks an important step toward strengthening economic and development cooperation between Egypt and Guinea and opening broader opportunities for Egyptian companies to participate in major infrastructure and national development projects in the country.

The presence of a company of Arab Contractors’ stature in Guinea goes far beyond a conventional business mission. It sends a clear message that Egypt stands ready to contribute its expertise, engineering capabilities and experience to Guinea’s development journey.

More importantly, the visit reflects the depth of the historic and fraternal ties between Egypt and Guinea and a shared commitment to transforming those relations into concrete partnerships and development projects that serve the interests of both nations.
