The 17th BRICS Summit is taking place in Rio de Janeiro on July 6-7, 2025.
The authority and influence of BRICS in the world are growing from year to year, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday.
“The authority and influence of our association in the world are growing from year to year. BRICS has rightfully established itself among the key centers of global governance,” Putin said via video link during the plenary session of the BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has thanked the BRICS colleagues for contributing to constructive cooperation.
“I would like to once again thank my colleagues from the BRICS member states for the productive constructive cooperation,” Putin said via video link at the plenary session of the BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro.
The final declaration of the BRICS summit provides a solid foundation for joint work, Putin added.
“I presume that the final declaration of the Rio de Janeiro summit prepared for approval creates a strong basis for our further joint work in the traditional BRICS spirit of continuity and equitable cooperation,” Putin said.
