Man Lures Heavily Pregnant Teen to a Most Horrific Death

Finding out you’re pregnant or that your girlfriend is pregnant can be stressful if not downright horrifying if it’s not what you wanted or expect. But what kind of monster would actually take two lives just because he didn’t want to be a father?
Eren Toben is exactly that kind of monster. He and is his friend lured 19-year-old Peiner, his heavily pregnant girlfriend, to the woods, where they beat her half unconscious, poured gasoline over her body and set her on fire.

Maria was eight months pregnant and looking forward to becoming a mother. But in January 2015, Toben, together with his friend Daniel Mueller, 20, lied to her that they were going shopping for baby clothes. Instead, they took her into the woods on the outskirts of Berlin, Germany

Once she was in the woods, Toben stabbed her with a bread knife and poured gasoline all over her.

The judge said: “She was still conscious, it could have been 10, 20, 30 seconds – she was still moving. He acted for the sole purpose of taking pleasure in the destruction of another human being’s life.

Peiner’s body was found the next day and both men were quickly taken into custody, where they argued and blamed each other for the crime.

During the trial, it was proven that Toben’s fingerprints were on the knife.

Both men received a sentence of 14 years in prison.

Peiner’s family hopes to find some peace after the horrifying tragedy.
