Awareness created of unifying ideologies to end religious conflicts

New Zealand, Wellington –August 12, 2015, Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL, Chairman Man Hee Lee) NZ Branch hosted the secondinterfaith dialogue of scriptures in Wellington.

Under the theme of ‘Conflict and Peace mentioned in each religion’s scripture or text’, each religious leader delivered a speech based on their scriptures. Speakers includedMr. Janmashtami Krishna Dasrepresenting theHare Krishna faith, Dr. Rajiv Chaturvedirepresenting Hinduism, and a Christian scholar Mr. Christopher Matthews.

After the speech, participants expressed positively that“we get to understand each other through this scripture dialogue and we take a step forwardin harmony despite ourdifferent religions

Afterwards, participants witnessed the peace movement directed by Chairman of HWPL, Mr. Man Hee Lee and Chairwomen of International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG), Ms. Nam Hee Kim through a hope-filled and inspiring video.

Having watched the video, Dr. Rajiv Chaturvedi from Hindu Council of Wellington said that “I had the privilege of attending the first peace summit which was held in Sept 2014 by HWPL,” and “I noticed that a number of youth and not just youth, but everyone volunteered for Mr. Lee’s peace movement. It’s very obvious that something is going to be achieved and it is spreading around the world after the peace summit.”

As an NGO aiming to achieve world peace, HWPL is working actively to pursue religious harmony and theenactment of the international law for world peace and cessation of wars.
