مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي يشارك في فعاليات “أسبوع الحزام والطريق للسينما” بمهرجان شنغهاي السينمائي الدولي

شارك مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي في فعاليات “أسبوع الحزام والطريق للسينما”، التي تُقام على هامش الدورة الحالية من مهرجان شنغهاي السينمائي الدولي، وذلك في إطار عضوية مهرجان القاهرة بمبادرة “الحزام والطريق” السينمائية منذ بداية تأسيسها.
ومثّل مهرجان القاهرة في هذه الفعاليات الناقد محمد سيد عبد الرحيم، مدير “أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما”، حيث شارك في اجتماع أعضاء مبادرة الحزام والطريق الذي تناول سبل تطوير المبادرة وآليات ربط مهرجان القاهرة بشكل أكبر بالمؤسسات السينمائية المشاركة فيها.
كما عقد عبد الرحيم لقاءً مع السيدة تشن جوو، المدير الإداري لمهرجان شنغهاي السينمائي الدولي، بحث خلاله سبل توسيع التعاون بين المهرجانين، من خلال ترشيح أفلام وصناع أفلام مصريين للمشاركة في الدورات القادمة لمهرجان شنغهاي، إلى جانب العمل على أن يكون مهرجان القاهرة وملتقى القاهرة السينمائي البوابة الموثوقة لمهرجان شنغهاي لاكتشاف المشاريع والمواهب العربية الجديدة، بالإضافة إلى دراسة إمكانية تنظيم أسبوع خاص للسينما المصرية ضمن فعاليات الدورة القادمة من مهرجان شنغهاي.
وفي سياق متصل، اجتمع عبد الرحيم مع مسؤولة شركة “هوا شيا” لتوزيع الأفلام (Hua Xia Film Distribution)، أكبر شركة صينية لتوزيع الأفلام الأجنبية داخل الصين، حيث استعرض أهمية الأفلام المصرية والعربية في الفترة الأخيرة، وأبرز المشاريع التي حصدت جوائز كبرى في المهرجانات العالمية، والتي سبق لها أن نالت عدة جوائز في ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي. وأكدت مسؤولة الشركة أن مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي يُعد أفضل مؤسسة سينمائية في المنطقة العربية، ويمكن أن يكون بوابتها الموثوقة للسينما العربية والمشاريع والمواهب العربية الجديدة.
وعلى هامش الأسبوع السينمائي، عقد عبد الرحيم سلسلة لقاءات مع عدد من الشركات الصينية العاملة في صناعة السينما والإعلام، من بينها: “وينجسايت” (شنغهاي) للإعلام والثقافة (Wingsight (Shanghai) Culture Media)، وشركة “شنغهاي رانجوانج بيكتشرز” (Shanghai Ranguang Pictures)، ومجموعة “سبوت لايت ماتريكس” للإعلام (Spotlight Matrix Media Group)، و”ميماوكو” (شنغهاي) للثقافة والإعلام (MIMAOKU (Shanghai) Culture & Media)، و”آي تي دبليو” للتقنيات الذكية وأعمال المسرح (ITW – Intelligent Tech & Theatre Works).
وفي تصريح له، قال محمد سيد عبد الرحيم، مدير “أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما”: مشاركتنا في أسبوع الحزام والطريق للسينما تمثل استمرارًا لحضور مهرجان القاهرة في هذه المبادرة منذ انطلاقها، وهي فرصة مهمة لتعزيز التواصل مع المؤسسات السينمائية الصينية والآسيوية. اللقاءات التي عقدناها مع إدارة مهرجان شنغهاي ومع كبرى شركات التوزيع الصينية تفتح آفاقًا حقيقية لترشيح الأفلام والمواهب المصرية والعربية للسوق الصينية، ونعمل على أن يكون مهرجان القاهرة وملتقاه السينمائي البوابة الأولى الموثوقة لاكتشاف هذه المواهب، بما يخدم حضور السينما المصرية والعربية في واحدة من أهم الأسواق السينمائية في العالم.”

أُطلقت “أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما” كمنصة مخصصة لدعم وتطوير الصناعة السينمائية في العالم العربي وأفريقيا، من خلال توفير فرص التمويل والتدريب والتشبيك بين صناع الأفلام والخبراء الدوليين، وتضم عدة برامج رئيسية أبرزها ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي وسوق القاهرة السينمائي وكايرو برو-ميت.

*Cairo International Film Festival Participates in the Belt and Road Film Week at Shanghai International Film Festival*
Cairo International Film Festival participated in the activities of the “Belt and Road Film Week,” held on the sidelines of the current edition of the Shanghai International Film Festival. This participation comes as part of Cairo International Film Festival’s membership in the Belt and Road Film Festival Alliance since its inception.
Cairo International Film Festival was represented by critic Mohamed Sayed Abdel Rahim, Head of Cairo Industry Days, who attended the meeting of the Belt and Road initiative members. The meeting addressed ways to develop the initiative and mechanisms to further link Cairo International Film Festival with the member institutions.
Abdel Rahim also held a meeting with Ms. Chen Guo, Managing Director of the Shanghai International Film Festival, to discuss expanding cooperation between the two festivals. This includes nominating Egyptian films and filmmakers to participate in upcoming editions of the Shanghai International Film Festival, and working to establish Cairo International Film Festival and Cairo Film Connection as a reliable gateway for the Shanghai International Film Festival to discover new Arab projects and talents. Furthermore, they explored the possibility of organizing a special week for Egyptian cinema during the next edition of the Shanghai festival.
In a related context, Abdel Rahim met with representative of Hua Xia Film Distribution, the largest Chinese company for distributing foreign films in China. He highlighted the significance of Egyptian and Arab films in recent periods, and showcased prominent projects that have won major awards at international festivals, many of which had previously received several awards at Cairo Film Connection. The company’s representative affirmed that Cairo International Film Festival is considered the most important cinematic institution in the Arab region and can serve as a reliable gateway for Arab cinema, projects, and emerging talents.
On the sidelines of the film week, Abdel Rahim held a series of meetings with several Chinese companies working in the film and media industries, including: Wingsight (Shanghai) Culture Media, Shanghai Ranguang Pictures, Spotlight Matrix Media Group, MIMAOKU (Shanghai) Culture & Media, and ITW – Intelligent Tech & Theatre Works.
In a statement, Mohamed Sayed Abdel Rahim, Director of Cairo Industry Days, said: “Our participation in the Belt and Road Film Week represents the continuation of Cairo International Film Festival’s presence in this initiative since its launch, and it is an important opportunity to strengthen communication with Chinese and Asian cinematic institutions.
