Political renaissance, national Dialogue

Long awaited National Dialogue political’s sessions launched on Sunday with several political forces, civil society groups, professional and labour unions, and public figures participating to discuss key political, economic, and social issues.
General Coordinator of the National Dialogue Diaa Rashwan lauded the exerted efforts of political leadership’s for opening the greet opportunity for national dialogue, saying it was carried out accurately at the highest levels.
Rashwan also stressed on the necessity of Court supervision for reviewing and monitoring electoral process, during the political axis of the national Dialogue’s session.


Rashwan reiterated that The sessions are set to discuss issues related ways to cease discrimination, among others in the state , in order to enrich political life under constitutional disciplines .
Rashwan pointed out that the participants from youth from different parts briefed him on their vision on the dialogue and welcomed it to create a new open political atmosphere paving the way for a strong economy.
They stressed the importance of adopting a political track accommodating all legitimate political parties and enabling them to enjoy their political rights without restrictions, Rashwan said.
Session’s purpose Is to create political will for the people, especially women and youth, to promote political life to boost political life, Rashwan added.

For his part,Mostafa bakry Deputy-speaker of Egypt’s parliament said that any successful electoral system must have several things in it, pointing out that the first of which is the existence of a societal consensus around the law, and that the law is characterized by simplicity and ease in understanding and application, and that it supports and supports the partisan system.

Bakry Suggested that the system should be on a closed list, since everyone would be represented. The last election saw only a 56% majority party, as well as maintaining the proportional representation stipulated by the Constitution, and that system was creating some kind of balance, and we were at an important stage and needed national consensus.
