The management of Hollywood Arab Film Festival, chaired by Maykel Bakhoum, has announced selecting director Amir Ramses as jury head for the second virtual edition of Industry Days. The jury members are producer Shahinaz El-Akkad and filmmaker Cendrella Abi Gerges. Additionally, he confirmed that the Hollywood Industry Days platform represents a significant and unique opportunity for young filmmakers who will receive production grants for their projects. He also emphasised that this year’s jury will ensure that grants are awarded to the best projects and will encourage these young people to enhance their talents by learning about various film schools through interaction with other filmmakers.<\/p>\n
On his part, Ramses expressed his gladness and pride in chairing the jury, alongside his veteran colleagues; producer El-Akkad, who presented multiple Arab films that took part in prominent festivals, and film specialist Abi Gerges, who works across different stages of development, production, and distribution, and currently serves as the Project Market Program Manager at the Red Sea Souk\u201d.<\/p>\n
