Medical personnel are responding to an incident near the White House. President Donald Trump is not inside but is set to arrive later in the day from Florida.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The US Secret Service has said that an individual “allegedly suffered a self-inflicted gun shot wound along\u00a0the north fence line” of\u00a0the White House on\u00a0Saturday. The incident has impeded pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Medical personnel are on\u00a0the scene and are treating the individual. The victim has been identified as\u00a0a male but\u00a0his name has not been revealed.<\/p>\n

President Trump is yet to\u00a0come back to\u00a0the capital from\u00a0his weekend in\u00a0Florida.The White House has been placed on\u00a0lockdown.<\/p>\n

In late February a woman crashed her vehicle into a security barrier near the presidential residence. She was arrested.<\/p>\n
