Arabic book “Sheikh Hasina” to appear in English & Bengali soon

Journalist Mohssen Arishie: how was Sheikh Hasina born twice ?

Journalist Mohssen Arishie, Managing-Editor of the Egyptian Gazette and author of the book “Sheikh Hasina” received on Wednesday a high-level delegation from Bangladesh led by Masud A. Khan (to the left of the author) President of Bangladesh-Egypt Friendship Association; and Faisal Reza (far right), advocate in Bangladesh Supreme Court. During the meeting Arishie appreciated BBF’s initiative to translate “Sheikh Hasina’ to English and Bengali. Seen also is Hossain Ahmed Mazumder, a leading businessman and chairman of Al-Air Travels & Tours.

The 300-page epic book, the first ever in Arabic, escorts the reader to exciting and even tragic chapters of the war of liberation Bangladesh people had to fight under the leadership of Sheikh Mujibul Rahman; his daughter Sheikh Hasina successfully pursued the realization of her father’s national dreams after he was assassinated. Shiekh Hassina, who is the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, is described in the book as the Daughter of Bangladesh mythology-esque reality that unfolded in the 1970s of the last century. The book also explains how Sheikh Hasina was born twice, the second being her survival of the tragedy that hit her family on August 15, 1975.
